Elder charles Gladney, sr.

Pastor Charles Devon Gladney Sr. was born in Birmingham, Al. After graduating from Wenonah High School, he joined the United States Army and received an honorable discharge after serving 11 years of dedicated and committed service to his country. His educational background includes an Associates of Science, Cameron University Lawton, OK; Bachelor of Business Administration, American Inter-Continental University, Atlanta, Ga; Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, New Life Bible School, Lawton, OK; Dual Master degrees: Master of Public Administration from University of Oklahoma Norman, OK, and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Earlier in his childhood his great aunt prophesized that the hand of God would be upon him and that he would preach the Gospel in his teens. In 1994, while stationed in Germany, Charles Gladney Sr. acknowledged the call to salvation. He was licensed as a Minister by the Honorable Rev. William J. Perry, former Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Mason City, Birmingham, Al. and preached his first trial sermon there. From that time on he has been proclaiming God’s Word.
In 2006 Charles Devon Gladney Sr. was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) by Bishop Lee Vicker Broom, Prelate of Oklahoma Northwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Charles Gladney currently serves as OKNW Ecclesiastical Jurisdictional Mission Department President. Throughout his ministry he has served in the following capacities:
